The Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion is at the heart of a national network that supports our Armed Forces community through thick and thin - ensuring their unique contribution is never forgotten. They support serving and ex-serving personnel of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, Royal Air Force, Reservists and their families.

Their support starts after one day of service and continues long after life in the Armed Forces. When people leave the Armed Forces, they help them make a successful transition to civilian life. They offer sports-based rehabilitation courses at their Battle Back Centre for those who leave with a life-changing physical or mental injuries. If veterans and their families struggle to find work, make or find a home or deal with debts, they can provide expert advice and financial support. As veterans age, they help by providing independent living advice, dementia support for families and award-winning care homes. Whatever they face, they're by their side every step of the way.

They give the Armed Forces community a voice by championing their interests and campaigning on key issues. They often call on members of the public to add their voice to help make a real impact.

They lead the nation in remembering the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces every year. Symbolised by our red poppy, a sign of hope for a peaceful future, they believe that Remembrance has the power to unite people of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds.
